Just for fun, and because we could. Mama wouldn’t let us keep it.

Since we don’t get down “on the island” that much, and even less this year, I figured this was my best chance to get a Lobster Pound cooked lobster.

We went a bit further this time than the 5 miles up to North Charleston.  We loaded up and all went down to Acadia to ride the Carriage trails.  I picked Witch Hole for the ride, seeing as it was labeled ‘Family’. Albert picked up another kart.  This one is the straight-forward basic one.  Kill switch, pull crank start.  169cc for the small frame pushes it quite well.  Good clean fun.

We loaded the bikes and drove up over the big hill in Charleston to go for a bike ride on the other side.  It was short lived (about 3 miles) but a good first outing.  BudSher and the boys were there to join in on the frills and spills.

I just finished a Flight Lesson and screamed back to Bangor to meet with an old friend and have lunch.  Good to see you again Jack and crew.
