Physical Therapy. I’ve gone and over-worked my shoulder again. Three years ago I worked it into a big ol’ knot sitting at my desk. I’ve come to learn that the mouse is mightier than the man. So, its off to PT twice a week for me. It helps. But I have to do the exercises… Continue reading »

Call Me a Turkey
I’m not that great a hunter. In fact, I’m pretty pathetic. So much, I pretty much have given up. Twenty plus years of toting a gun of some sort through the woods with less than tens pounds of anything coming out with me (collectively!). So it doesn’t surprise me when deer show up on my… Continue reading »

Climb, Climb up…
Cadillac Mtn. Jess and I had our first chance to go for a real motorcycle ride this year. We put 150 miles on the bike by going down to the island (MDI) and driving up Cadillac Mountain. I climbed it this winter and thought it would be neat to drive up it. Maybe later this… Continue reading »

Busy Saturday, lets wrap the day up wallpapering
What? I can honestly say I’ve never wallpapered before. (that I recall). Continuing with the decorations for Nathans room we gave him for Christmas, Jess wanted to get the last piece in place. A strip of wallpaper. I never thought I would ever wallpaper anything in this house. Some of you know, we live in… Continue reading »

You Know You’re Shooting Skeet in Bradford when…
You show up and there are more guns than people! I was invited over to Bradford for a little skeet shooting fun this weekend. After spray painting for hours, I ddin’t think my arms and hands would handle the gun or even pull the trigger very well. I managed. There was no less than fourteen… Continue reading »

Danielson, paint the furniture
It’s suppose to really nice today… what do say, let’s paint Nathan’s furniture. Huh? I was thinking that riding the motorcycle might be a better choice, but yeah, painting furniture is good too. [sigh] Five cans of spray paint and two arthritic hands later, we have Yankee blue furniture for Nathans room.

Fielding Practice
We bought Nathan a new bat this year because his bat from last year was too small. He had one given to him, but that one was still too big. We’ve all had our turns with it and it seems like it will get the job done. Jess enjoys a few cracks at the bat… Continue reading »

Another Foreign Fruit
This time, it really is exotic. Ecuador. This is a Pepino Melon. A little pear taste, but mostly dew melon flavored. About the size of a baseball. Can’t say as I’d get it again, the taste soared no where near the $4.00 price.

Party Like its 1986
I sent this picture to my sister, asking her if she lost hers. [smirk] She had a pair of rollerskates back in the day, and these sorta reminded me of them. So really, why a photo of the skates? I’ve been working on a project that required some skate bearings. I figured to find any… Continue reading »
